TERMINOLOGY: PARABOLIC DEFINITION

Created by Nick Cavallo, Modified on Fri, 31 Jan at 12:49 PM by Nick Cavallo

We are describing a stock conducting a parabolic movement.  The term itself refers to a rapid and exponential rise in the price of an asset or stock, resembling the steep upward curve of a parabola. It suggests a strong bullish momentum often preceding a sharp correction or crash.

Example: "The stock went parabolic after the news of the merger."
